I need basketball players

I need basketball players for tomorrow's practice. at least 5 ladies to scrimmage my girls in SPanish Fork. Or do you know anyone? It'd be around 4:30 for an hour or so.

Black Friday

Shopped Black Friday and LOVED IT!
First time ever, but it was worth it. I only went to the mall, but it wasn't even that bad...at least when we got there which was 8:00am. Hit 4 stores and then i was outta there! Urban wear, Charlotte Russe, Children's Place, and Gymboree.

Thoughts on a Thursday Morning

Okay, so remember the facial/body products I was telling you about and how I had buyers remorse? Well, I was sick to my stomach for two days because of it. I just couldn't believe I talked myself into spending that much (I won't tell you how much because I'm really embarrassed) and I let someone talk me into it and make me think I was getting the BEST deal. In a very tactful way the guy also told me I had bad skin. I'm sure that's their way of trying to pull you in. UGH. BUT, listen to (or read) this:

JC, my wonderful husband stayed home last Friday with a fever of a 101, a cough, and other stuff. However, he felt so bad for me because he saved a bunch of money so I could go shopping for my birthday, and then I come home with this stuff. He was so shocked that that's what I wanted to spend my money on. But after I told him that I just felt awful about it, he decided to go back to the mall and try to get my money back. You see, I bought the stuff from those kiosks in the center of the mall from the people from Israel....the dead see salt stuff? You familiar with it? They don't give refunds!!!! Well, JC hassled the people for an hour and a half trying to get our money back, and also telling other customers that he could sell it to them for a cheaper price. Of course, the salesman/woman did not like that. But it went on like that until they finally took some of the products back and gave me 60% back!!! Woooo. So I ended up with two products and most of my money back, which made me feel sooooooo much better. What a great hubby I have!!! I never could have done that. Could you?
I'm always really good with money, but this time it just didn't happen for me. Needless to say, I definitely learned a huge lesson.

Momma is in town!! Wooo hooooo! It's been great having my mom here. She has a tendency to clean my home when she here, which I'm fine with! :) Kasia is just loving her and vice verse!! I wish my mom lived closer.

I just got a job as a basketball coach at charter school!! I am coaching the freshman and assisting the varsity. It's fun, but very challenging at the same time. A lot of the girls are true beginners and don't understand a lot. It's hard not to get frustrated. What's even harder is that I have to share some of my freshman with the varsity because we just don't have enough players ( only 13 for both teams). We had a game the other night and 4 of my freshman had to play up on the varsity as well. They were pooped. I love basketball!! It's hard not to want to get in there and play myself. I started playing when I was about 7 and went on to play in college at CSUB! :) High School basketball was my favorite though. My junior and senior year we had a BOMB team. I'd love to go back to my senior year and relive those moments, especially if I had the knowledge that I do now.

Thankful for:
1. JC who works so I can stay home and be a Mommy!
2. Sisters who I can talk to about anything.
3. A mom who cleans my house when she visits.
4. father who is always concerned for the welfare of his family and is always working so hard.
5. A brother who wouldn't let anyone hurt us.
6. Kasia who laughs and smiles all day long. She really is such a happy baby!
7. In Laws who are so easygoing and loving
Good friends, my health, good food, my bed, and the happiness I feel in my life.

Buyers Remorse

Just spent a lot of money on some skin care products and am regretting it a bit. But, I don't take care of my face that well. Was it worth it??

Yikes!
It's been a good 28 years.
The Crowe family celebrated on Sunday with breakfast for dinner: French toast, yummy scrambled eggs, and some bacon. mmmmmm bacon. And then for desert, Shirley's Sweet rolls--blueberry (my favorite) and raspberry. IF you haven't had her rolls before, then you MUST try them.

JC's Bday was on the 7th and I threw him a surprise party. It turned out great!! :) He was not expecting it at all.











JC's red velvet cake with cream cheese icing that I made for him. He actually doesn't like cake; he prefers pies, but it was still a hit!







JC pretending to be a "newsie." Remember that movie? I can sing every song to it. :)

What would you attempt......

I would:
1. Write a book that would be as popular as Harry Potter!
2. Compete in the Iron Man Race...and win of course
3. Stop all the craziness that is happening in the Middle East.
